My Impact

I am a Mother of two boys 3 and 6. I stay at home with my youngest. I take him to many preschool aged functions around town. I have recently been placed in the position of Children's ministry Leader. What an Imapct! I have my own boys to train up in God's ways and when the are older they will not depart from them. I assist the parents in this same task when I teach and guide the children at church and at Musikgarten class. I encourage parents that I come in contact with at the store, park, play groups, Scouting and church. My husband and I have just taken on the role of CubMaster. This mean we are responcable for all of the Cub Scout Dens in our Town. We have about 50 boys and their families that we will impact weekly. Through our words and actions we can show those around us what Christ has done for us. I am being trained for Music Ministry by a wonderful mentor that has had the opportunity to mentor and impact musicians in many areas. Being the CM leader at church means I am responcable for leading worship during class. I hope to improve my vocals and piano skills to effectivly lead live worship verses DVD by next year. Our church went to a nursing home today. I was able to sing with the group as well as sing a solo. Being there ministers to me as much as it does the wonderful men and women that live there. I am so gateful and honored to be allowed to have these many great privilages of witnessing and ministering to all of these people in my community. Living with a purpose is so much more joyful and meaningful than mearly surviving the day. I wish to all of you who this a Blessed day.
