These young people are collecting donations through a secure program on the Internet called Kick Starter.
Bite Size is an innovative feature documentary that tackles the issue of childhood obesity, and how to help kids take better care of their bodies.
I know my friend Stacey Wallace is all about health and education and that EmWomen is the perfect place for women who care to help kids who care, change the world, so I thought I would tell you more about this amazing project.
This is my youngest son Corbin’s newest commitment. He is an awarding winning graduate of the prestigious USC Film School and he wants to use his God given gifts and talents to make the world better for children.
This is not Corbin's first major project. When Corbin was 9 years-old he was diagnosed with “restrictive air disease”
and he grew tumors in his sinus cavities that were so large they were
pushing his eyes out of his sockets. It was terrifying because he went
through 2 very serious surgeries that the doctors told us he could come
out blind or not wake up at all. It was Christmas for the rest of my
life when my sweet son woke up from both of them. When he woke up he
decided that he had to help the world of children by cleaning up the
air on the planet so that no child would have to struggle to breathe
like he did.
When Corbin was 10-years-old he was able to get 169,000 trees planted in his home state of Oklahoma. At 10, he
was awarded the JC Penny Volunteer of the Year in the child category
for our region. Corbin then, because of his crusade to make the world better, became the youngest professional motivational
speaker in the history of the National Speakers Association.
Corbin wrote 4
books by the time he was 14 and we gave all of our money that we made
from books and speaking back to the planet in the form of paying to
have trees planted where ever we could.
Corbin has a new dream on his heart. He and his friends want to end childhood obesity. Corbin has enormous talent, huge passion, giant dedication and even bigger heart. Please, share this project with your friends on facebook.
Talk about it at your children’s schools and maybe the children can
help to raise money. Share this at your church, share it anywhere you
think people care about children and their health.
