Women of Passion Taking Action!!!

EMwomen is all about "Women with passion -- taking action!" Do you remember American gymnast Kerri Strug? She was injured, but she pressed through her injury to earn a gold medal for her performance in the 1996 Olympic Games.
Many of us have taken the safe road of living cautiously -- not really pursuing and pressing through to our dreams and desires. Children don't live like that. They dive into activities, throwing caution to the wind. I remember when my little grandson, Payton, at 5 years old, was so focused and passionate about getting a riding, child-sized, motorized fire engine. He went door-to-door selling cookies from his Mommy's pantry, offering to do chores for $$, selling his toys, and calling his grandparents and family for help with raising the needed $$$ to make his big purchase. He was unstoppable in his quest to get that fire engine. After about three weeks of relentless efforts, he purchased his fire engine with his own money, earned by his own passionate efforts.
God blesses each of us with one life. We ought to live it like there is no tomorrow! Shouldn't we live so we have no regrets at the end of this grand journey?
We ought to live with unstoppable passion; pray with passion; work with passion -- passionate about everything we are doing -- not focusing on our limitations. I thank God for Staci and her unstoppable passion for bringing out the best in women (me included). I've been reading some of the comments of you women in the EMwomen community.....and you all exude this kind of passion also. I pray that we will all come to realize the power that is within us to live abundantly, love fearlessly, believe continually, progress passionately, and leave a legacy of "Women of Passion"!

I have to say WOW also ..... I Love this place that Staci has created for us to be at this very moment in time ....... thank -you Donna for your inspiration and passion to impart passion into women of all ages......... I love the fact that we have mothers and daughters on here together ,but also I feel that there are many mothers in the Lord that can help train ,inspire ,encourage ,lead and just on us and we them here ...... again thank you for the very provoking message and inspiration...

wow is right! Donna your words are for me right now. I am again dealing with the Legislature and the pressure is on (was on me today but I just put it back on them.) I was doubting myself until I just read your words, "We ought to live with unstoppable passion...not focusing on our limitations." Those words made me realize that God had me start something with the government that I have to finish And your words took my fear away, giving me my focus back. Well this time if I end up back on the Legislative steps this weekend, at least the weather is much warmer.

WOW! What a blog! I feel so inspired by these words and am truly blessed to know that God has given the vision to so many other women. I know the words in this blog will have a great impact on all of us if we read it and meditate on it with clarity. To have passion is one thing. To take action on that passion is another. Our effort to start this community was our way of taking action on our passion to see women empower women around the world. Everyone has a story to tell that could change the lives of someone else. This community is not just about chatting online. Its goal is far greater, far deeper, far more significant. This is an opportunity for us, as women, to support, empower, inspire and motivate each other to step out of our comfort zones and do something extraordinary with our lives......together!
Thank you, mom....you have inspired me to "keep on keepin' on!".
