Blue Sky [3/18/09]

i fell in love with you a week after i met you,

but as the year goes by,

my sky turns a darker shade of blue;

it hurts so much feeling those words & hoping they're not becoming a curse;

i've told you no matter what happens in life i will always love you,

so remember in times like this, that those words are true;

i cry at the thought of us parting,

& we havn't even got to the part to where our lives are starting;

i drempt of being with you for…

Increasing Your Email Marketing Open Rate

Lately, I’ve been getting a number of questions about how to get people to open their e-newsletters and e-blasts. Well, there are a number of things to take into consideration.

1. Use an email marketing service such as Constant Contact. Constant Contact works diligently with all the various ISP’s to make sure your e-newsletters and e-blasts end up in the recipients inbox and not in their junk/spam… Continue

A very important lesson and tip

It's no time to punk out and quit! Some obstacles came your way but you know what we have to do jump over them in; some caught you by surprise and ran right over you; dust yourself off and keep moving.

Recently something happened that left me disappointed. I began to question if I was hearing God. Maybe I misunderstood what he was saying or maybe I added my own pieces to the puzzle and was trying to fit them in with Gods plan for me. That is the last thing I wanted to… Continue

Missions Trip to Sri Lanka

Dear Friends

During the past four years, God has used my gifts and abilities to work with my local church helping women in prison see their potential purpose and destiny in Jesus Christ. Despite their current situation, we want them to know that God loves them and desire to use them to reach others for Christ.

Now the Lord is calling me to take a leap of faith and go on a trip with JESUS Film, a ministry of Campus Crusade. In September I will be taking the Word, my… Continue

I Can Only Imagine…

I sat here today looking at the amazing beauty out my back door, the trees, the birds and so much more wondering how we got here. How did we get to a place where each day is filled with so much stress, fear and doubt of the unknown? Did we unconsciously choose our destination; did we knowingly choose where we are? Then one must ask do I want to stay in this place of stress, fear and doubt?

Then I came inside and picked up a popular woman’s magazine to flip through it relaxing and… Continue

Caring for Self

I have not been here for some time and realized that I must keep in touch with powerful women often. I have been working on my self enrichment and exploring my world of healthy chocolate doing due diligence and discovering that giving others the opportunity to better health through live energy foods like our healthy chocolate has been so rewarding. Daily I am getting phone calls of my clients health improving and how fun it is to work with a team of liked minded people.

I know this is from… Continue

"When I Grow Up" ~ Thoughts On Choosing A Career Path or Major!

Hello EMGirls & EMwomen,

I was watching the “Kids Choices Awards” on Nickelodeon a few weekends ago with my 10 and 5 year old daughters and I saw/heard the newest song by the Pussycat Dolls called “When I Grow Up”. As the women in the group danced around in there provocative outfits on the stage and sang the lyrics to the song, I was struck by the song, the way the members were dancing and the overall message. The fact that my 5 year… Continue

Happy Easter!

As a Christian, Easter is a grand celebration of my faith and a beautiful day to celebrate the death, resurrection, and life of my Savior. Even if you don't celebrate the Christian faith, Easter is still a wonderful time to recognize the beauty of NEW LIFE and NEW BEGINNINGS.

As we drove into Mena, Arkansas to offer disaster relief efforts to the families hit by the tornadoes I was astounded at the devastation and destruction caused by the storms only 2 nights before. Hundred… Continue

Smart Way to Move Ad Space on Your Blog

WomenPartner International Demonstrates Cross Marketing in Action

In this economy, it's not always easy to quickly sell ad space on your web site or blog. I had one $299 ad spot left on my blog that I'd been trying to sell for a couple of weeks to pay for the upgrade of my blog.

It dawned on me that I needed to practice what I preach. If I could suggest women team up to buy ad space in a magazine to make the cost more affordable, why not…

I'M GONNA LET IT SHINE!

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.

Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.

We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?

Actually, who are you not to be?

You are a child of God; your playing small doesn't serve the world.

There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so other people won't feel insecure around you.

We are born to manifest the… Continue
