Could I summarize my life’s purpose in one sentence?  Jesus could.  He came to serve and give his Life for us.  His journey wasn’t all pleasant, and it was hard at times.  He still found beauty in everything around him and he lived life finding solutions.  Jesus had compassion and love for everyone and he fulfilled his purpose.

Matthew 20: 28 

“just as the Son of man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom”

I wonder am I living like…

Each of us has special gifts, abilities and talents.  God gave us these gifts and expect us to hold on to them and use them in the way that honors Him.  He does not expect us to all act the same or try to “out do” one another.  Each of us are designed to be unique and to be different.  Some of you are new Christians, others re-energized in the Lord, and others have been in his Word for years.  What He does want for us is that persevere in our own special way holding on to what we have.  Your…

I wear many hats as a wife, mother, full-time worker, graduate night school student, and there are days when I grow weary and wonder if anyone notices me.  Each day before dawn I wake and work well into the night.  Busy with chores, deadlines, duties, traffic, meals, laundry, homework,  and yes indeed, finding time with our Lord.  I know He has a purpose for my life and I try to obey his beautiful and gracious “god whispers”.  There are times when I am weary and I just obey him and hold on…
