How I heard about EMwomen:: A Friend :)

About Me:: Married to my soulmate, Khris, for 8 years! We have four beautiful children ages 6, 5, 3, and 1! I also get the blessed oppurtunity to stay home with them! Kaleb, Haylee, Jacob and Kolten are our childrens names and they have richly blessed our lives and our marriage!

Just going to give a little more info on our lives so I can connect with other mothers going through the same things and maybe we can help one another!
I will Start with Kaleb, our 6 yr old, he has whats called brittle asthma which is deadly, and 'simple' attack can cause him to lose his life. It's been such a scary battle, and he has atleast 2 attacks a week, but we are doing good with handling it at home and we have only had to take him to the ER twice, what a challenge!
Jacob, our 3 yr old, has whats called dandy walker variant, its very rare so we are learning as we go, he is extremly delayed, he started walking at age 2.5 and what a miracle that was, we were told he would never walk, and he walks and runs and loves every minute of it! He is our biggest challenge, but we are learning every day, right now the biggest focus is his language, he still can't say any words and trying to communicate is almost impossible, but like I said we are learning as we go.
Kolten just turned one in April and what a delight! He was born very early with lots of complications, but is doing awesome, he was on a sleep apnea monitor for heart rate drops but was discharged from it at 10 month, what a relief that was!!! He amazes us everyday!
Then my princess Haylee, she is 5 and is a big time daddy's girl! She is truly our princess and only girl and loves every minute of it!!
Khris, my husband, is my rock! We have been married for almost 8 wonderful years, without him I wouldn't be who I am today! God sent him to me and what a blessing he has been in my life!
