Don't Touch My Junk

The latest news about the hands on screening by TSA is that the president of TSA says that the screeners will try to be less aggressive.Come on people. Are we the descendants of the strong minded individuals who colonized America and suffered every kind of hardship in doing so? Weren't some of our family bought to this country shackled in the hold of a ship? Now we hear the squeals of air travelers who consider it an invasion to be thoroughly searched. Come on guys, give it up. Shut up and…See More

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you and best wishes for your internet endeavors. I thought about the first Thanksgiving that the pilgrims had. They were newbies in the country and not yet accustomed to the weather, or the food and probably would have starved to death that first winter, were it not for the kindness of the Indians. Sometimes we need acts of kindness in our own business lives, particularly if we're in uncharted internet waters. If we're knowledgeable, We need to act like the Indians…See More

36 Flavors of Music

Posted on November 19, 2009 at 7:44am 0 Comments

I don't even have to spell out the name of the business whose brand is 36 flavors. This company has a flavor for every taste. When we started out in the music business we had only one flavor of music. It was jazz. But when rap and hip hop sell the most CD's, with country a close second, it became necessary to add another flavor. So we added in the exact opposite of jazz - neoclassical piano. Over the many years that we've been producing and selling CD's, we managed to expand our music offerings… Continue

Just How Bad is the Economy?

Posted on November 3, 2009 at 8:11pm 0 Comments

Did you hear about this story. An exotic dancer in Akron, Ohio, gets probation after she stabs her co-worker in the face with a stiletto heel. That’s bad enough, but here’s the kicker. The co-worker was 52 years old and this was her first day on the job. Seems the dancer wielding the shoe didn’t think the owner needed to hire any more dancers. Just how bad is the economy when a 52 year old has to take a job as an exotic dancer?
