Relationship Status:

How I heard about EMwomen:
from a friend and sister in Christ by the name of Tish.
About Me:
I 've been married to my husband for 20 years but we have been together for 30 years. We dated for ten years before getting married. I have two daughter's Melanie and Breonna. My daughter's are 18 years apart. I was 38 when I had my last baby and I am 52 now.

I am a RN, BSN and have been in Nursing for over 25 years. I haven't worked outside the home for the last several years. I'm contemplating on getting a Master's degree in Paralegal Studies.

Last year God gave me a creative idea. It is a new line of clothing called Versatile Tees with Extensions. This year I filed a patent for it and now have a patent pending. This is all new to me. Now I am a self-employed business woman.

I recently started a business called Tinkas. I 'm making plans to market my product or possibly license my patent rights. I welcome any advice or words of wisdom that you may have on this subject

I'm a Christian and an annointed prayer warrior. I love to read and I love the Lord.

For the past 21/2 years I have kept a precious little girl by the name of Tia from 21/2 months to almost three years old. Her parents were members of my church. They moved here from North Carolina and had no family here, so I volunteered to keep their precious baby and their son who was 6 at the time.

These children are so special. Their mom had 8 miscarriages trying to conceive children. She had 3 before giving birth to a son by the name of Trey and 5 after him before she conceived a daughter by the name of Tia.
She refers to them as the promises. She is now a Christian author and has published a book called Delivered as a result of the trials she faced during that time.

I consider it a priviledge and an honor to have been a part of their lives.

No, they are not there yet.
I'm in the process of having the prototype and pattern made. I have drawings of them.
They are really neat.
Since I now have a patent pending I can share it with you. They are polo and tee shirts with 3 additional pieces that are all reversible and detachable. All pieces are all made of a variety of fabrics and of a variety of colors. The 3 pieces consist of collars and cuffs and an extension.
The extension is a piece that can be worn underneath the shirt and hangs below the rim to give it a layered effect without having to put on two seperate shirts.
Versatile Tees with extensions are very convenient, because you will be able to attach or detach any or all of the piece's without having to get undressed. They areexcellent for the person that's on the go. They'll be able to change from casual wear to business wear to a more dressy attire in a matter of minutes just by coordinating and interchanging pieces.
They will take up less storage space in closets and suitcases making packing much easier. The fact that the removable pieces are also reversible saves on cleaning. The biggest thing is that you'll be able to purchase one shirt and one set of cuffs, collars and or extensions, which will be equivalent to multiple outfits, because they allow so much versatility in a wardrobe.
The cuffs are for the long sleeve shirts. These 3 pieces can also be worn with other garments of simple design.

Like I said this is a new adventure for me. God gave me this creative idea. I'm also praying for investors because I don't want to borrow a large sum of money to get this venture started. I believe that God will provide them since His Word says to owe no man nothing but to love Him.

I'm open for any Godly counsel or advise. So tell me your honest opinion.

Hello Rhonda, welcome to the EMcommunity. What a joy to have you has a part of the community. As you browse through the members and groups, you will see that the EMcommunity is a place where passion abounds in an array of areas from Faith, Family, Fitness, Finance and Career Development.

The EMcommunity is wonderful site learn, share and find women who share the same pursuits that you do; as well a great place to invite your family and friends; and make new friends from around the world. I hope that you have a great time exploring and setting up your page to be uniquely yours.

I would recommend becoming a member of EMuniversity in which you will be receiving teaching about Faith, Family, Fitness, Finance and Career Development from our founder Staci Wallace and many other experts in those chosen fields.

I would recommend checking out the “Success for Today” podcast, at the beginning of each week it is a wonderful source of motivation.
