Married for 26 years and been a Christian close to 28 years. My husband and I oversee the Children's Ministry at Faith City Church and have for most of our Christian walk. We stepped in to fill a temporary need and guess God had other plans! Love working with kids. They're the coolest!
I love to cook and try new recipes (always looking for Guinea pigs!), love reading books on children's ministry, health and especially the Old Testament (such a story lover!). We have three (adult) kids. Wesley, stationed in Japan (Navy), Jonathan, attending college to become a teacher/college professor or possibly the political field and Emily who attends Schoolcraft College in the Culinary Arts Program. I love my family and my wonderful church family. They are off the cuff, top shelf, top notch, the greatest!
God is so good!

Hi there Miss Becky! I was just thinking about you!!! How are you? How is life in MI? I can't wait to move back and actually get to see you again!!! Love you! Miss you tons!!!
Hats off to you again! Christina was telling me about her day Tuesday at school. She was having lunch with 7 other girls at the lunch table. Two of the girls had been to visit our church. One of the girls asked Christina if she was still working in the sound booth. Everyone else was became interested in their discussion. The two girls that had visited Faith City were telling all the other girls how awesome their experience at our church was. Anyway, it sparked a conversation between 8 sixth grade girls to talk about God and church in the middle of a public school lunch room! How awesome! Christina was so excited about it and couldn't wait to come home and tell me.
It is so refreshing to know that God's witness is going into all the world (even school cafeterias) through the children that you teach. I am sure there are many more stories just like that, that you don't get to hear.
Thank you Becky for your commitment to children's ministry! I know that I have told you before but your class has been such a blessing to my children's lives and I do not take that for granted. It takes special ministers like you and your team to reach the so very formidable minds and hearts of the little children. Every seed that has been planted will produce a harvest. I am a living testimony of that fact; REACH THEM WHEN THEY ARE YOUNG! Bless You and Luv U!
