I just paid the $49 to join the EM community. I have been a member here for almost a year but just now paid the membership fee. I look forward to meeting you all and spending more time on the forums. I would like to be more active in the community and be able to do that with my kids. I offer a lot of talent and experience to the EMwomen's group. - I am a wife to a wonderful, supportive, loving and very handsome man, Travis. We met on June 2, 2006 at Point Cedar (Lake Degray) by accident. You know the saying...if you dont go looking for love you will find it...well, I believe it with my whole heart now. People have always told me that but I'm impatient and sometimes I dont seek things that are meant for me (what can I say...I'm human, eh?). Anyway, we got married in front of the Hot Springs Court House under a VERY old tree (that is apparently on some kind of registry) on January 27th. It was bright and mild outside. Just me, him, and Sara Beth and Matthew.
Which leads me to my second title (of many)...a MOMMY! When God made mommy's He must of had a lot of things in mind. I can't imagine life without my children. They teach me things in life that I've always known were there but didn't know how to grasp them...such as laughing for no apparent reason, dancing for no apparent reason...staying up late...watching movies OVER AND OVER...and many more things. My oldest is Sara Beth. She is 8 (almost 9) and going on 20. She is in 3rd grade this year and she is absolutely amazing. She's so smart! My baby is Matthew. He is 6 (almost 7) and he will be in 1st grade. I held him back in kindergarten one year cause he just wasnt ready and it was a blessing that I did because he learned so much this last year! I'm so proud of both of them. They are active in soccer! My step children (hate calling them that) are Cameron, age 7 and Christine, age 6. We dont get to see them often...their mother isn't very open to being kind and unselfish...we're working on that though. Just pray for the strength that we get through it. We miss them so much!
I am a part time student through University of Phoenix. I am currently pursuing my Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. I will graduate in August! After that I start on my Bachelors in Psychology and then I start on my Masters of Science/Administration of Justice and Security. I hope to one day work for the Federal Bureau of Investigation and study in Forensic Sciences! I want to be a CSI soooo bad! Oh, can you tell I love school!?!?!?
I work as a Customer Service Rep at Timothy's Fine Art in BEAUTIFUL Hot Springs, Arkansas. I love Hot Springs...BUT I HATE THE TRAFFIC! It takes a lot for me to stay sane driving in that mess every day from Glenwood! EKKKEEEEKKKK! lol I am also an INDEPENDENT AVON SALES REPRESENTATIVE. I do this on the side and have had pretty good luck with it so far. If you are interested in buying or selling please let me know! I'd love new customers and/or team members.
