I love my dog Ziggy he is like my child and he even sleeps with me under the covers.. haha!!! ya I know he probaly shouldn't but he is spolied what can I say. I love music,movies and makeup not in that order, and I try to always to be nice to everyone even when people are grumpy, because hey everyone has a bad day and you might just be the only person that said something nice to them all day. My scleroderma.

So its something I rarely talk about, maybe part of me forgets and the other part wishes I could forget that I have scleroderma. Most people never ask but I know in the back of their mind they want to and then theres the people who say they dont notice, which I dont always know if I believe them or not. I mostly get stares when people cant help but notice and although most people are very polite that there is something different about one side of my face, there are the few that can be rude,… Continue

It is very beautiful here and everything is so close!!
How is everything going with you and the Lord? My focus is mostly on the perscuted church in China and India. Walter and I have a subscription to China aid and they keep us updated on what is happening to our brothers and sisters in Asia, the letter we received was so heart breaking how just a couple weeks ago one of our brothers in the Lord was tortured in Bejjing for over 50 days!! Walter has two kids over there they are teachers.
This might be "TMI" but our brothers and sisters need all the prayer they can get while we live in our comfortable lives!!
So China is close to our heart!! I love you Lauren!!

- Thank you Lauren being very open and desribing scleroderma. I once knew a co-worker whose life was also affected by this. My heart goes out to you and I will be praying for you that you will know without question how beautiful you really are. It is unfortunate that still today we feel we need to define a person by how they look or by what circumstances may be going on their life. Be encouraged today and know that when God the Father looks at you He says, "She is so precious to Me." For He does not look at the outward appearance but at our heart.
