About Me:: I'm 25 years old..still trying to decide what I want to do with my life! lol. I'm engaged to the love of my life. We're getting married August 13th and I can't wait! He's currently in training for the Marines at SOI and will FINALLY be home July 3rd! I can't wait. This whole experience has taught me a lot. I've learned just how strong I can be. I haven't had to deal with a deployment yet and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I won't have to for a LONG time. Going through his boot camp and training alone has been hard enough. I know now that I can handle whatever life (or the military) throws at us. It has strengthened my faith in God, my faith in love and it has shown me just how strong our relationship really is. I wouldn't change any of it for the world. I've met so many great people, and reconnected with some I haven't talked to since High School! You really find out who your true friends are when you're going through the hardest times in your life and I love all of them with all my heart. I couldn't have made it through all of this on my own. I cherish every moment I have with him now, and there's NOTHING like the feeling of a homecoming!
Semper Fi has a whole new meaning in my life! I have so much respect for our boys and their wives, fiancee's, and g/f's who are patiently waiting for them back home!

Soo I will officially be a Marine Wife in 3 more days!!! I'm sooo excited. I've been soo busy up to this point trying to get everything ready and finalized and all that jazz and now that it's almost here I'm soo anxious to do this thing lol.

We'll only be married for about 2 weeks before he has to leave home. He'll be in Little Rock for about a month and then he'll leave for 29 Palms about the second week in October for training before he's deployed in March. Soo...not only was he gone for… Continue

my fiancee is getting deployed. He basically leaves in 3 months and goes to Afganistan in March...I don't know what to do with myself right now...I'm devistated..

Tommy comes home in 2 weeks now and I couldn't be more excited! I can't wait! He's been talking about having a "date night" when he gets home..just the 2 of us..phones off..he said he wants it to be just me and him time lol. He's so sweet..silly, but sweet! I'm so proud of him for getting through all of this. update on headache

So I went to the Dr. this morning and he said I've got a migraine...although it's not typical for a migraine to last 10 days he said that's more than likely what it is. He gave me some new migraine meds and some phenergan and told me to sleep and take it easy and if it's not gone in a week to go back and see him. He said more than likely it caused from stress. headaches

So I went to the Dr. Monday and had a ct scan done...my brain in fine..everything looks normal. The Dr. gave me a prescription of Ultram...it's not even helping. I'm on day 8 of this headache now and am starting to get a little scared. I've tried absolutely everything to get it to go away and nothing works. So, I've got another appointment Friday morning...my mom said the next step with this headache is a spinal tap because there could be an infection in the lining of my brain...I'm hoping for… Continue
