How I heard about EMwomen:: First heard through VTN, but recieved email from Andrea Douglas with invitation to join.

About Me:: I am 13 years married to a soldier in the USARMY (active) and that is a ministry within itself!

Currently, I'm a stay-at-home mommy of two beautiful and amazing children. Eli is nearing his second birthday, and Piper is nearing her 9th.

God called us to Hot Springs on a mission. I'll be honest, I resisted at first, but power comes when we humbly submit! And ladies, let me tell how good it feels to just let go and ride the wave!!! Sometimes sitting down and shutting the world off is the most spiritual thing we can do as a woman!

God called us to serve under Pastor Ben and Pam Wiles of River of Life Church in Hot Springs, AR. And what a joy and honor it has been for us during this time.

Soon we will be entering into a new season, as we are currently awaiting orders for our next assignment. Tough to leave, but exciting to embark upon a new purpose in Christ! He's never failed to do abundantly above in my life, so I know it is going to be amazing.

I'm praying for that right now. I just found out today that in a few weeks I may not have a job. I'm sick to my stomach. I fell apart at first, but then I gave it all to God and held my head up. Unfortunately I don't think that was communicated to the rest of my body because I've had my stomach fighting upset. I hope that the devil gets a clue that even when he 'tries' to wear me out that I will always recoup, recover, & come back stronger & fighting mad. I told Paul the other day that I'm ready to kick the devil's teeth in! I like the bulldog comment. I've also been compared to a momma Grizzly bear! The fact is that I know I could win any physical battle with any creature to protect my son. I'm working on "buffing up" to be that way in the spirit to defend all! I'm making more "disciple boxes" and I want to make sure you & your mom get some before you have to move! I love ya!!!!!

I've gone from over-eater to over-reader! Hey, when your hungry...! Praise God! Anyway, I've not been able to put this one down. It is exactly what I needed. I'm going to start taking it with me all the time so I can grab at any moment! Thank you for always knowing exactly what to do & say to make it better. Or, I should say thank you for having a glorious magnitude of faith to always follow God's prompting!
