Hello! My name is Heather Rogers, and I am a Co-Captain for the Blue Team. Wow -- what an amazing day we had! Today marks the 2nd day of the EMpact Leadership Summit, and we started our day with a bang! The girls showed up 30 minutes early just to decorate our van for the 1st "outing".We headed off, first thing this morning, to the Boys and Girls Club to do A.R.K. which stands for Acts of Random Kindness. EMpact Leadership Summit Day 6

Day 6
June 21st
Today is Father’s Day. We hope and pray that everyone enjoyed their time with their families today. Today was mostly a day of rest and a family day. We met up with the girls at 6:00 to head to 4H. After we arrived at the camp and everyone got settled in their rooms Pam Wiles was able to speak to the girls about how to fill out a work application and create a resume. We didn’t have a full schedule today, but we thoroughly enjoyed being with these wonderful… Continue

Saturday, June 20
Today started off as a very early morning to most of the girls. The girls had a night full of fun and excitement at Embassy Suites. Today was our EMfitness day. We all walked a 5K. To some of the girls this seemed to be an impossible challenge. When we told them what we were about to do, they thought to themselves there is absolutely no way I am going to be able to do that. Each girl walked and jogged at their own pace to stay in their "EMzone". But everyone… Continue
