Dear Miss Virtue, Amy has been my friend since kindergarten and we are now in the 10th grade. She doesn't have many friends and struggles to fit in. The girls I hang out with give her a hard time because she is different. Another friend Sara is very harsh with Amy and constantly picks on her about her clothes and her hair. About Me:: Founder and Director of Esteem House., a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping teen girls develop in leadership through our Leadership Academy and spiritually through our Just Us Girls (http://heartmatters4girls.blogspot.com/) teen ministry.

I have over fifteen years of corporate leadership and development experience, a M.S. in Management from Indiana Wesleyan and a B.A. in Organizational Communication from Indiana University. I am also a licensed minister and graduate from Rhema Bible Training Center. I enjoy helping others reach their full potential and I believe that every person is created with a purpose and with in every person is the ability to succeed.

What is Esteem House?

Esteem House, Inc© is a faith-based 501 (c)(3) organization created out of the need to help teen girls fulfill their purpose in life. We provide workshops for public/private schools, and or other organizations dedicated to positive teen enrichment.

Our Girls Leadership Academy serves girls grades 6 through 8 and provides a solid foundation for girls to succeed in life and leadership. Our course topics include personal development, leadership skills, business etiquette, interviewing, technology savvy, behavior management and prevention, general health and welfare education.

Our teen ministry, JUST US GIRLS © provides bible based character-building workshops which are excellent for parents, teens or other faith-based organizations who are looking for a program that will compliment their current programs and reflect their beliefs in God. These bible-based programs promote positive friendships, strong interpersonal skills, a personal relationship with Christ Jesus
