How I heard about EMwomen:: I went on a Cancer walk with my ex-boyfriends sister. And the people who took us were part of the Crossgate church/school thing. Founders of EMwomen.. They told me about EMwomen and what they were trying to do for women in general and ones with breast cancer, or family members.. But its been awhile since I've been to Crossgate.. I also met Stacie at Olive Garden one night and she gave me a card so I could look at this site and got me involved.

About Me:: I have a boyfriend and a family. They mean the world to me! I'm.. lets say.. the middle child. My mother passed away to breast cancer on November 20, '07. I live with my real dad and step mother, we have a family containing: 1 half-brother & 1 half-sister, along with, 2 step-sisters & 1 step-brother. Only my 2 step sisters live with me though, for now. I'm not a very athletic person but from now on, except for at the summit, I'm going to be working out every other day. Me and my father have been on a diet since the 1st of January. Since then I've lost around 20 lbs. But I'm very proud of myself for even going on a diet and losing what I have. Going back to my boyfriend, after his 18th birthday he plans on going to the National Guard to get money for college and a Job along with other necessities for life. Oh! I am 15 years young and want to make a difference within the world around me.. I would also like to become closer to God and my Mother because I feel like I'm drifting away from them. I believe in heaven and want to go there..
So pretty much.. I want to be everything that I'm not.. But could be..
