About Me:
i am a Seventh Day Adventist Christian by definition however, i desire to be so much more for God but i feel that i don't have the resources to do so (ever hear the saying the heart is willing but the flesh is week? well that's me). i am a very good listener and can be a very good adviser if need be, i want to be able to come out of my shell because i believe that i have so much potential for spiritual greatness and to also, break down the wall which i have created around myself to block people out of my life. i have not yet discovered my gifts or my talents so i can't really say much about that.

I would also like to suggest volunteering in a women's shelter. The times that I have visited, there are always many children there of every age. Maybe you could initiate a volunteer service of your own. Many times moms goto the doctors, the health department, social services, etc with their babies and have to juggle them around during their appointments. Also single moms often have no one to help them. You could offer a type of repite service to them. I will be praying for you to have wisdom and guidance.

Davia, I was reading in the EMgirls that would love start to volunteering. Have you ever thought of working in the infants department in your church? You are just the person they need. Parents love to know that there are folks taking care of their children that want to be with them. Showing them care is important, yes, but showing them God's special supernatural love is priceless. You really need to nurture this passion you have. Please check out the SuperEmwoman of the week, Dana, her story is right up your alley. I want too encourage you to be the voice for the unborn. Put God first, He will show you the way.

Davia - blessings to you. The wall is there for a reason. It is important that you understand your wall before you break it down. We often protect our heart from getting hurt further. Sometimes - our heart throws up a wall when it thinks it needs to be protected when in actuality Jesus has removed all obstacles. My sister - if ever you want to share in order to break down your all - I'm confident that many women on this site has walked in similar paths and have struggled in similar ways or are faced with similar things. I certainly can tell you I have and I relate well to throwin' up that wall. I have found great encouragement in reading the book of Nehemiah - for the Wall He built was for health reasons as it secure and protected the people of God. May your wall be only the Wall of Salvation - God's gift - a reason to keep it remain strong for in you is the Kingdom - the city of God (Is 26:1) therefore, let the children of God in....but may you allow the Lord to pull down all walls that block your blessing of reconciliation and fellowship to the Body. Indeed - God's gifts are already in you...let them spring forth without fear.

Welcome Davia! Thank you for being so transparent. I will be praying for you and I am believing God's best for you today. I agree that there is so much in you that you are not even aware of yet. I encourage you to continue seeking God and you will find Him and He will reveal His plans for you. Sometimes He calls us out of our comfort zones but with the promise that He is with you. I believe as you discover who you really are in HIM it will birth a new confidence in you that with God you can do all things. He will be right there with you, cheering you on. He has wonderful plans for you, Davia. I am excited in anticipation of the leaps that you will be taking this year! Share, Share, Share!
