Brooke Jones posted a blog postAt present, I work full time as a Corporate Trainer in the banking industry and have also returned to school to receive my Masters Degree in Education. The Masters program focuses on technology as a learning tool and it has given me the insight and understanding to securing and managing a web presence. My career goals are to receive my Masters Degree in Education and follow God's plan for my life to develop several entrepreneurial projects for training and developing e-learning programs.
In 2006 the name, Stronger Than Espresso, was a god whisper to me and I secured the domain name. At the time I had no idea what God had planned. In 2007 I wrote a book called Stronger Than Espresso, designed as a handbook to help survivors of domestic abuse transform from victim to survivor.
I too, was a victim of abuse, and spent years in difficult and dangerous relationships. In 2003 - 2005, I finally got out and accessed women's shelters, community resources and found that it is difficult when you are so broken to find a way to receive the help that you need. Using my experience and education, I want to transform the handbook into an on-line learning program available to assist victims of domestic abuse.
In time, the healing came and I was able to meet and fall in love with a Christian man, Rick. We are married and have two lovely children, age 3 and age 1.
God speaks to me and he has challenged me this last year to add school onto an already busy schedule. He told me he had plans for me. 2011 he has already asked me to get on my knees and pray. Obedience is the key for the blessings that follow. I look forward to working with other EM Women to transform lives.
Be blessed,
Brooke Jones

Could I summarize my life’s purpose in one sentence? Jesus could. He came to serve and give his Life for us. His journey wasn’t all pleasant, and it was hard at times. He still found beauty in everything around him and he lived life finding solutions. Jesus had compassion and love for everyone and he fulfilled his purpose.
Matthew 20: 28
“just as the Son of man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom”
I wonder am I living like…

Each of us has special gifts, abilities and talents. God gave us these gifts and expect us to hold on to them and use them in the way that honors Him. He does not expect us to all act the same or try to “out do” one another. Each of us are designed to be unique and to be different. Some of you are new Christians, others re-energized in the Lord, and others have been in his Word for years. What He does want for us is that persevere in our own special way holding on to what we have. Your…

I wear many hats as a wife, mother, full-time worker, graduate night school student, and there are days when I grow weary and wonder if anyone notices me. Each day before dawn I wake and work well into the night. Busy with chores, deadlines, duties, traffic, meals, laundry, homework, and yes indeed, finding time with our Lord. I know He has a purpose for my life and I try to obey his beautiful and gracious “god whispers”. There are times when I am weary and I just obey him and hold on…

EM Women,
Do you need to rest?
When Jesus came to Bethsaida, he needed to rest, grieve and relax, and the last thing he needed was another large crowd of people to heal. After crossing the Sea of Gallilee the crowds were waiting for him. Did he become frustrated, angry or tell them to go away? No, his love for people overcomes his needs and he heals them with the compassion of Christ.
Mark 6:34 NIV
“When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion…
