Hi Brandee,
I read your about me and just wanted to say that you are not alone. I know you may feel alone, but we are called to be stable and to not be moved by our feelings. You are a beautiful woman even though you do not see it. He is with you and He sees you as beautiful and wants nothing more than for you to see yourself how He sees you!
I know it is hard. Being a single mother, feeling like you are facing everything on your own. It took me a long time to realize that just because I am in a place and situation in my life that I never expected to be in, especially at 32 that if I surrendered to Him and let Him work out my messes and make something beautiful out of them, He would. There is a reason why you are where you are. Ask Him to reveal that to you, ask Him what His plans for you are. Little by little He will reveal it to you.
I too have struggled with feelings of being alone, I too am overweight, but I know that He has good plans for me, plans for me to prosper and a future ahead. I hold on to that promise with dear life!
Anyhow, just wanted to let you know that you are not alone, things will work out if you surrender and trust Him. You have much to offer and I hope you will see yourself like He sees you. You are a beautiful child of God.

Brandee, I just read your profile. I just wanna give you a big ole hug! I know how those divorces can wreak havoc on your self-esteem. You are beautiful and I'm sure you are a wonderful mother. I still have pictures of you from Dry Creek (back in our younger days)!! We've come a long way since those big hair days, haven't we?? LOL Oh, my hair was BIG, using the aquanet. hehe I just wanted to give you a smile before I went to bed. Hope to talk to you soon on here! LOVE YA!~

I think you may be onto something ;~)
So when you lived in Allen did you enjoy it here?
The part about you never deciding what to do as far as college/work I am totally going through that myself. So much to do but not sure which to do
Also, the "i'm overweight and feel miserable. i feel really alone. I know all this sounds very depressing--sorry." is something else I struggle with like you because being alone is not fun and we all know that God is w/ us so we aren't really alone but just the fact you don't have that special someone to share your day w/ while making dinner w/ or giving a hug (grown up style) can be hard.
Plus, the weight/depression thing I can completely relate but we can work on this part in the future together if you would like
Well, I guess God knew and guided you to read my post so hope we get to know each other more in the future. Are you going to the conference in August?
Much Favor,
Jwls
