Volunteer Opportunities

EMwomen is made up of women just like you who want their lives to be used for something greater than themselves. Together, we are impacting lives, changing homes, and empowering new business start-ups for women around the world. As EMwomen grows, so does the need to grow our team. As an organization of women, led by women, we believe in servant leadership. Our volunteer leadership opportunities are taken very seriously and we are continually looking for women with a passion to take action and make a difference. All volunteer hours will be logged and counted toward community service hours within our EMcircle program.

Below are the volunteer positions currently available.

Editorial Assistant-Assist in the selection and oversight of content and stories.

Marketing -Aid in marketing efforts, bookings, creating new partnerships, and social media marketing

Merchandising -Product placement, descriptions, and distribution

Event Planning-Help plan, organize and develop teams for upcoming events.

Hospitality - Lead VIP- New Members Team, welcoming new guests within our network

Graphic Design -Newsletter graphics, social network graphics, print, and media

Web Development/Programming - HTML, Web 2.0, etc.

Fundraising-Assist in researching grant opportunities, sponsorships, and other forms of support for EMwomen.

Video Production/Editing -Help shoot and edit EMwomen Stories and content for upcoming events

Event Child-care -May 1 Banquet Child care...interviews will be mandatory for this position

EMcafe Coordinator -Help gather, test, and present new recipes

EMgirls Program:- Promote the “Redefining Beautiful” Leadership Development Course and Essay Contest to girls in Garland County.

Legislation & Advocacy: - Keep the EMwomen leadership team abreast of legislative issues regarding the health, wealth, and 
empowerment of women and girls in Arkansas and organize, propose and work with local legislators to pass ordinances.
