CONGRATULATIONS to Super EMwoman Of the Week, Jo Silvey who is a living example of what it is to be dedicated to loving others, inspiring women, and making a difference to so many.
Only days before my father's passing, Jo flew herself to Tulsa, OK, to give he and my mother a "touch of love" with her amazing styling services. As my father laid in the bed, she made him feel and look like a million bucks. Little did she know that her act of service and love was preparing my dad for his graduation celebration to heaven only days later. Thank you, Jo for your selfless acts of service you give to so many.
Jo spends each day serving the "beauty" needs of others in her salon. But beyond her unstoppable passion for her role as a master stylist, she is a giver of her time, talents, and resources to EMwomen and so many other outreaches that empower women and families.

Dana thank you for sharing your story and being so real. We as a community need to hear these kinds of stories because your testimony is important to that person that may be struggling with the very thought of having an abortion as you did at one time. I pray that those girls/women log on to this page and that it may be life-changing for them. I too at one time had contemplated having an abortion upon having just left an abusive marriage and discovering I was pregnant. It was my growing relationship with God and the Christian mother of a friend that stopped me from making a terrible mistake even though I felt I had no hope at the time. I look at my daughter now, being 14 years old, and am so grateful to God for her. She is such a special gift and I cannot even my life now without her. I would encourage any young woman contemplating an abortion to please stop, and give that little life a chance. Thank you Dana!

Whooohooo Gracie!!!! Congrats on being SuperEM Woman of the week!!! Wow you story is so inspirational and your 3 points are so what I needed today..#1.
