I know you must be thinking....."being over 50....causes brain freezes"!!! And you are probably thinking what in the world do wisdom and warts have in common?? For me, at last.....the search for wisdom is over! I found it in God's Holy Word, the Bible, in James 1:5 - "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." If we want wisdom, let us ask God for it and He will give it to us. We don't have to hike to some unknown mountain to find a guru or pay a lot of money to find the best consultant, coach or adviser (although, sometimes that's a route we may be directed to take). All we have to do is ask God for what we want or need and then listen as He gives us the answer.
Let me tell you how I put that to work on a very trivial issue (but still important to me). A few weeks ago, out of the blue, the ugliest wart appeared on my forearm....right at the location where everytime I looked at my watch for the time....there was that awful wart staring back at me. Of course, the natural mind says..."go to the doctor and get that sucker burned off....NOW!" But, I did just what the scripture above said....I prayed, asked God for wisdom and listened. In just a matter of minutes after I asked, I sensed to do a search on the internet of home remedies to get rid of warts. I read through many options....but one that had many testimonials with it....rang true for me. So, I did just what it said.....got duct tape....apple cider vinegar...and cotton balls....whoa-la....my tools were all in place. Then, as directed, I dabbed the wart with the apple cider vinegar, put the small piece of cotton ball on top and then covered it with the duct tape.....only changed the duct tape and started over the process when I showered. Other reports said it would take 3 weeks for the wart to fall off.....but for me....only 7 days. I totally promise you the wart is completely gone and absolutely no scar or mark where it was. Some might say this was just a coincidence -- to find such a remedy. But I choose to go to my Creator who fearfully and wonderfully made me and who provides the answers I need (whether big or small....warts) if I ask and listen. He loves us that much! Much love to you all!
Your revelation is a glorious truth we often miss . Thank you for the encouragement and the remedy. I wonder if it works on moles...,guess I better get to praying and see. Stay blessed!
So happy to get your response! I don't know about moles but I did have a little ugly skin bump on my chest (right where a v-neck top would display it royally. It was one of those little "irritants" that distracts us from more important things. Anyway, I tried the same process on the chest bump. It took a little longer because the duct tape wouldn't stay on as well on that area (I think the skin moisture had to do with it)......but after 3 weeks, it is completely gone. I'm thinking that the duct tape actually suffocates the skin issue and the acid in the vinegar burns it out. I confess there are people who have really huge mountains to be dealing with and things like this do sound so trivial, but God cares about "even the number of hairs on our head", so wouldn't it stand to reason that he cares about the warts and bumps and moles? Blessings to you today!
