It's a new year and, good or bad, it's time to put the past behind you...and me! The past never sees the future. If we feel stifled because we don't have any dreams or goals in life, we've probably been living on memories of what we've done in the past.

Don't give up on life. There is so much more for you to do and see. Are you still breathing? Then you still have the potential to dream. You can still get determined in your thoughts. You can still get ideas, and you can still act on those ideas and accomplish something in your life. God doesn't care if you're five years old or ninety-five years old. He sees your potential and the impact you can have on the future, regardless of at what age you're starting. And don't stop with just dreaming!!! It's easy to dream....but take the next step....become a visionary!! Get determined to be a visionary in your life -- to move forward, to keep on living and learning and doing something. Your destiny doesn't ever end.

I've heard it said that the poorest person in the world is not the one without a nickel; it's the one without a dream. Every great invention you see began with a dream. The car you drive has its roots in Henry Ford's dream of the automobile. The light that turns on when you hit the switch was conceived in the head of Thomas Edison. Mr. Ford was tired of riding horses and set his sights on creating an "automobile," which he called the "Model T." Mr. Edison was tired of lighting his house with gas. The carbon monoxide was giving him headaches. But, he didn't invent aspirin to cover up the problem. He began dreaming of a solution to gas. He began thinking about inventing something to give us artificial light. Look at your ceiling right now. Do you see a light bulb? Thank Edison! He invented it!

Some of the simplest inventions have been the most life-changing. in fact, look around you right now and see the "things" people have invented, built, or made better. Almost ever one of them started with a dream, and then developed into a determined thought -- a mental map -- that became the critical factor in putting action behind the thoughts and getting the job done!

My encouragement to you today and this year....is dream big....where you see lack.....maybe God will give you the creativity for provision; where you see relationships confused and broken.....maybe God will give you the wisdom to bring about peace; where you see someone suffering and in pain....maybe God will give you the idea or the medical team or the food supplements to bring about restoration. It's all about dreaming, and with God......dreaming is hoping, believing and receiving. "With God all things are possible!"
