Empowering Moms To Change Their World

Did you know that analysts have said that by the year 2015, 1 out of every 2 children will be diagnosed with diabetes in their lifetime? This group is dedicated to making sure that the moms of this group don't fall prey to those statistics while empowering them to help educate the children they reach daily to make better choices for a healthier future.

Empowering Moms is one of the life enhancing groups being offered as an outreach of the partnership between EMwomen, FirstFitness, and Gracies Gear . By providing moms the education, scholarships, tools, resources, and coaching they need, we are giving these women a chance regain their health, lose weight, and empower their families to break the statistics of obesity and diabetes plaguing so many.

EMWOMEN SCHOLARSHIPS: We have scholarships available for women and girls with a desire to transform their body and reinvent their life. Each woman or girl selected receives a full scholarship to the Ultimate Body Makeover, a 90 day program focused on helping individuals lose weight and keep it off by helping them get to the root issues of their behaviors, habits, and even addictions. In addition, they will receive product and supplements to support a 30 Day Cleansing and Weight Loss Program from First Fitness, as well as Walk/Run Coaching offered by Gracie Updyke from GraciesGearAndTraining.

If you want to be considered for a scholarship, tells us why you need, deserve, and want to change your body and transform your life.

I think the best day of my Mommy menory is when I first heard my daughter tell a friend of hers that she loved me and thought I was "cool". To be affirmed by her and know she respects me is such a great feeling!

I have a friend of mine that has a little boy who has severe alergies. I feel so sorry for them as they have to be so careful with everything they do. Does anyone know of any medical help that they can get that they may have overlooked? She seems very stressed out and it is like a prison at times.

Miley Cyrus....Is She Safe?

Can someone help me with a little dilemma I am in that I am sure someone else can relate to? My daughter has been a Miley Cyrus/ Hannah Montana fan for quite some time. Like many parents, I have been excited that a pure and moral alternative to Britney Spears and Lindsey Lohan has been available for my daughter to watch. Now, however, that Miley and her team of “advisors” have decided that it is ok a fifteen year old to appear naked, in nothing but a sheet for Vanity Fair Magazine, I am concerned that she is going to lead a ton of young girls down the same path of sex, drugs, drinking and naked exposés. Does anyone else have these same concerns and if so, what is the alternative?

I love hearing other mom's stories. Laughter is key! :-) I will be sharing my stories soon enough of my precious angel Daylin Grace and our travels across the country! She is 13 months old and has travelled to 17 states already.....
