Trends come and Go----Bohemian is back with a new twist!

Standing on the cusp of a brand new season, I couldn't be more excited because at "EMwomen EMages" spring is fashion.....Your transformation starts here. Trends come and go as quickly in our industry (hair and make-up) as they do in the fashion world. In haircolor, we've seen the popularity of light shades and darks, fat highlights and skinny ones, colors straight from the earth and shades not even remotely found in nature.

Not surprisingly, change is in the air again. This time around, the latest buzz in the biz is that boho hair, with its easy-to-maintain color and style, is making a comeback for spring.
Some of the current Hollywood A list bohemian celebrities seen sporting Boho hairstyles. Sienna Mille, Kate Moss and Mary-Kate Olson are just a few of the glamorous gals wearing casual Bohemian hairstyles.

Best bet is Mary Kay! I'm a consultant for over 15 years and have used it for over 25 years. No matter where I lived, the product had choices for the weather and my skin changes. The reps worked with me to get it right and it has a 100% empty bottle money back guarantee! www.marykay.com - you can find a rep close to you on the site!

Hello ladies!
I am a new member and will get my picture on the site soon! I need some advice. I travel alot and my skin seems to suffer. I am 47 years old and live in Seattle WA part time and Honolulu part time. While in the Seattle area I travel for business most of the time. I have tried some really nice skin care lines (some purchased from home representatives, some purchased from department stores) but I seem to end up with really dry skin or break out on my chin area. Any helpful ideas?

I just want to say hello to everyone here. I am the Administrator and SkinCare Specialist for the Arkansas Institute for Cosmetic & Plastic Surgery here in Hot Springs. We offer Many lines of SkinCare including Obagi and Nia24. For those of you concerned with large pores and oily skin you need to be on a individualized skin care regimen, and I recommend the Obagi Clenziderm system, it works phenomenally for breakouts and oily skin! For those of you wanting to minimize wrinkles, sun spots, and age spots, I recommend the Obagi CRX system or the Obagi Nu-Derm system. The results I get from these systems are definitely visible and I can prove it to you by doing a Visia SkinCare analysis. If anyone is interested in having an analysis, call my office at 501-623-2500 and tell them you heard about it through EMwomen and you will get a special discount!
We also offer all the MediSpa treatments including peels, laser treatments such as Hair Removal, MicroLaser Peels, ProFractional, Skin Tyte, and PhotoRejuvenation, and Parisian Peel Microdermabrasions.....We are a full service Plastic Surgery Center/MedSpa, and Dr. Jeffrey W. Herrold is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who has been practicing for over 15 years!
I love helping people with their skincare questions, please don't hesitate to ever give me a call or an email! I am a natural born problem solver with a big heart and need to help people!
I look forward to chatting with everyone very soon, and be sure to check out my blogs and our website for all the latest specials and promotions!

Thanks. Amanda you may want to try the place off Central Ave. across from the corner stone shopping center/IHOP. I cant think of the name but they do skin treatments etc. and they carry the products. Perhaps you could get a consultation and try the products for free. Or better yet maybe they offer a money back deal. sorry i can't think of the name.

Hi Amanda, I haven't tried bare id...so cant' say how it works. Most lines will give you a sample, might try it and see how it works for you!

Hi ladies, I really liked Bare Minerals for about 2 years but since I have gotten older and my skin is changing due to hormones (sp?), still oily but dry underneath, it really dried my face out. I switched to Estee Lauder. I found out that I was using drying products on my combo skin.
This leads me into my question... I use Estee Lauder which is costly. Recently my income has changed and I am trying to scale back. I was wondering if any of you use the ANEW products from Avon? I spoke to a rep and her skin and makeup looked just as good as mine. The great thing about Avon is you can sign up for $10.00 and get products for 50% off the price. They also run demos for consultants, like this month you can get Anew face cream for $9.00. That beats $45.00 or more. I'm considering this due to keeping my 3 boys well groomed at half the cost. Look forward to your comments
