The Dream Unfolds by Julie Clinton

I read this devotion this morning; it was something that I needed to be reminded of, so I hope that it inspires you as it did me.

God's dream for you begins to unfold when you start seeing yourself through His eyes. To Him you are extraordinarily special.
Remind yourself daily of what the Bible says about you.

God made you in His image. You reflect the most wonderful being in the universe (Genesis 1:27).

You are a child of God (1 John 3:1).

You were created for God's pleasure (Psalm 149:4; Ephesians 1:4-6).

You are unique. No one else is like you (Psalm 139:13,14).

You are given gifts by God that are made just for you (1 Corinthians 12:4-6,11).

God has placed a calling on your life (Psalm 138:8; Ephesians 2:10).

God knows everything about you, and He loves you just as you are (Psalm 139:1-3).

God knows your name. You belong to Him (Isaiah 43:1).

God loved you first (1 John 4:19).

Each morning when you get up, look in the mirror and say, "I am unique...I am loved...I am God's child." Your identity is firm in His love and in His image. Read these verses and memorize these truths.

Prayer:
Thank you, Lord for loving me and making me so special. Help me to see myself in Your image, and remind me how special I am in Your eyes. Amen.
