For many years my husband and I have been "over-the-top" optimists -- even in the worst of times, we have always looked for the good in the circumstances. We have seen the results of that optimism in tangible ways, but most importantly, we have two very successful children who are raising their children in the very same way and are experiencing a positive, faith-filled life. It's so easy to see the "glass, half empty" or "the grass greener on the other side", but the effects of thinking, visualizing, dreaming, and speaking the results we want (not what we don't want) is such a more powerful and blessed way to live. My husband and I daily speak positive words about the day we're getting ready to have. Here's a sample: "We're enjoying divine love, health and happiness daily, walking in the favor of God. Daily we're enjoying growth in our business, favor, sales and commissions, interest income and profit, checks in the mail, good surprises, finding money, raises, bonuses and benefits, estates and inheritances, rebates and returns, etc." And you know what, that is exactly what is happening in our life. Here's a little example that happened recently. Since the first of the year I wanted a treadmill, but prices were beyond what I wanted to pay. I kept thinking about that treadmill I'm going to have one day when we were walking outside in the heat. I'd say to my husband "Won't it be great when we can work out at home with our new treadmill?" Then, one day, I took some items to donate for a charity event, and there was a professional treadmill that was priced right. Now I'm daily using my treadmill as I had thought about and spoken about when I was walking outside. I choose to believe that "we reap what we sow" -- for example, if I plant corn seed, I'm going to reap corn; if I plant positive words, actions and thoughts, I'm going to reap positive and good in my life! It's a beautiful way to live....and I wouldn't want it any other way!
